Types of plant

Plants can be divided into categories as follows:

Annuals	(Plants that grown and die in a season)
Biennials	(Plants which grow and flower in the second year)
Perennials	(Plants which live for several years, generally known as 'herbaceous')
Trees & Shrubs	(Woody Plants)

The following plant types generally all fall into the above categories but are separated as follows to give a better idea of how they grow and where they live etc.
