Do I need to know exactly what I want before contacting you?

No. It is useful to understand your main priorities, but you do not need to arrive with a completed design or fixed list of features. Part of the designer’s role is to explore the possibilities and develop a coherent response to your property and lifestyle.

Should I provide a budget?

Yes. An indication of the anticipated investment helps us establish whether your expectations and the likely scope of work are compatible. It also allows the design to be developed around realistic priorities.

Can I send photographs of my garden?

Yes. Photographs are extremely helpful during the initial review. Include views from the house, the main garden areas, access routes, boundaries and any particular problems you would like us to consider.

Do you provide design-only services?

Design-only services may be available depending on the project and location. Please explain the level of help you require when making your enquiry.

Can you provide landscaping without designing the garden?

We can consider landscaping-only projects where suitable professional plans, specifications and construction information are already available. We will need to review the information before confirming whether we can undertake the work.

Do you undertake small landscaping jobs?

Kirman Design concentrates primarily on professionally designed gardens, complete transformations and carefully considered landscape projects. Suitability depends on the scope, location and nature of the work rather than garden size alone.

Which areas do you cover?
